accordance with ISO and MIL STD 40051-1 and MIL STD 40051-2
requirements. Wrote Operation and Maintenance technical procedures for
Military Technical Manuals and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
(IETM) utilizing Army Mainteannce and Logistics Theory. Worked closely
with HMMWV design and Maintenance Engineers in researching drawings,
specifications, and service/vendor data to verify accuracy of
procedures. Developed instrusive mechanical diagnostic tracks for HMMWV
vehicle models. Developed Maintenance procedures for Mine Resistant
Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle models. Served as publications expert
responsible for managing, direction, and controlling the overall
publications program for major complex weapon systems. Participated in
United States Army (TACOM) vehicle Validations and Verifications.
Produced detailed illustrations through enhancement of existing art,
new digital photos, and current engineering drawings. Analyzed and
evaluated complex processes and procedures, utilizing effective
Management procedures. Performed internal contene editing and
proofreading.
Performed technical writing duties to support Software Publications
Department. Wrote instructions for insertion of revision materials into
existing manuals. Assisted lead technical writer in editing and
proofreading outdated manuals. Completed revision packages containing
updated graphics and information for software updates. Produced
illustrations through use of capture software. Worked closely with
software engineers to verify accuracy of procedures.
